Pilot is the first episode of Pretty Little Liars.It aired in June 8. 2010.
The show begins with a footage of the night that Ali went missing.The girls were having a sleepover at Spencer's barn.Lights had gone out before Ali has scared them by sneaking up.They were laughing about it and drinking.Later,Aria,Hanna and Emily woke up to find Alison and Spencer missing.Spencer had returned to let the girls that Ali is missing and that she might heard a scream.
It's been a year since the disappearence and Aria has returned with her family from Iceland to a whole new Rosewood.Aria discusses with her mother about feeling strange with being home again.When Ella leaves she says to her father that she'll keep his secret.She drops her brother Mike to a basketball practice,and goes to a bar.There she meets cute Hollis College student named Ezra Fitz sitting next to her.The two of them talk and find out that they have a lot incoment.Their meeting ends up with the two of them making out in the bar bathroom.
At the mall,Hanna and her friend Mona are shopping.There she sees Spencer and they talk.She then shoplifts a pair of sunglasses,while Mona shoplifts a scarf.The two of them leave,scared,but relieved.
Byron drops Aria for her first day of school.Then he tells her that he loves her mother and that he won't make any mistakes anymore.Aria has a flashback about her father when she and Ali catched him cheat.
At school Aria and Emily reunite,and Emily tells Aria that,after Ali dissapeared they're group has splitten up.As the class begins the new teacher comes in.Aria's night wasn't so great after she found out that she was flirting with her English teacher.Ezra in shock mumbles: Holly crap(Honestly,I think it's the best moment in the episode).Just then,Aria gets a text message from -A who is letting her know that besides she/he/it knows about Ezra,she/he/it knows about her father,too.
This was the first part of the episode.We will soon be continuing.That's it for now.
